This is an update to the article posted here on August 14th.
It has been a long month and a half since the beginning of the Rawson Street project. This project was scheduled to add sidewalks to either side of the street and update utilities such as water mains, water meters, and sewer lines. In addition to this they are also laying fiber optic cable for high speed internet.
In recent days we have seen the road crews hard at work paving the curb along both sides of the street, laying gravel, and preparing for the fiber optic cable. Traffic has been limited to local traffic only on Rawson Street, while Midway has remained open for cross traffic.
